titleOfInvention | TOPICAL ANTISEPTIC AND HEALING FORMULATION AND ITS USE IN ANIMALS |
abstract | The present invention patent deals with the unprecedented “TOPICAL ANTISEPTIC AND HEALING FORMULATION AND ITS USE IN ANIMALS”, belonging to the veterinary technical sector, more particularly it refers to the topical formulation for antisepsis and healing based on polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride (PHMGH -polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride) for use on superficial skin wounds in domestic animals, whose action is based on the mechanisms of action of this synthetic polymer (polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride; PHMGH - polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride), which has high antifungal and antimicrobial activity, absence of toxicity and irritability , in addition to desirable and effective effects for the control of microorganisms present in superficial skin lesions of domestic animals, favoring both antisepsis and skin healing, evidenced mainly by the significant increase in fibroblasts. Therefore, the proposed formulations solve problems present in the technical field related to the treatment, antisepsis and healing of superficial skin lesions, which can be affected by the direct inoculation of the patient's microbiota and/or by the microbiota present in the external environment, which increases the risk of infections and aggravation of wounds and/or skin lesions, being an option against conventional drugs. |
