preparation process of bone grafts and bone grafts obtained. A process for preparing bone grafts is described from the preparation of a biosilicate® in (110), in (120) infiltrating biosilicate® slip into the biosilicate® of (110), in (130) burning the infiltrated biosilicate® from ( 120), in (140) infiltrate the biosilicate® burnt from (130) with bioglass f18, in (150) burn the product from (140), in (160) repeat the infiltration with bioglass f18 of (140) and the firing of (150), and in (170) recovering the biosilicate®/bioglass f18 product with improved compressive strength. the bone grafts obtained have porosity from 83.0 ± 2%, average cell size of 770 ± 290 µm and compressive strength of 1.0 ± 0.2mpa, porosity 82.0 ± 1.3%, average cell size of 525 ± 220 µm and compressive strength of 3.3 ± 0.3 mpa as prepared respectively from 35 ppi or 45 ppi pu foams. the bone grafts obtained are used as replacements for trabecular bone and provide consistent mechanical integrity and porosity for regeneration of functional bone tissues. |
