abstract Irreversible solid polymeric thermochromic sensor based on polydiacetylene, process and uses . the present technology refers to a solid and irreversible thermochromic sensor based on polydiacetylene supported on polymeric matrices. the sensor is based on the color change of polydiacetylenes from blue to red, induced by temperature rise. the method of synthesis and obtaining the polydiacetylenes in a suitable polymeric matrix allows the control of the transition temperature in solid state. this technology is intended for thermal sensing and inspection of the storage of products from various industrial sectors, such as chemical, pharmaceutical and food.
