abstract The present invention is a pharmaceutical herbal formulation in the form of a cream containing the hexane partition of the methanolic extract of Pereskia aculeata Miller leaves (ora-pro-nobis) which can be applied in human or veterinary therapy as a topical antipsoriatic, since it contains natural active constituents with the property of reducing skin inflammation and stimulating the formation of the granular layer of the epidermis, absent in psoriatic skin, inducing it to reestablish its morphological characteristics, approaching the normal and healthy state.
