abstract The present invention patent concerns an unprecedented process for obtaining solid lipid nanoparticles (NLS), containing peryl alcohol (AP) for antitumor activity. The invention disclosed here refers to a process for obtaining NLS through hot homogenization, as it is easy to prepare and low cost, using cetylpalmitate lipid and AP in order to potentiate cytotoxic activity and decrease its volatility with increased bioavailability, and favor the controlled release of the pharmaceutical formulation for antitumor activity. The developed process and product are mainly intended for the pharmaceutical formulations area, more specifically for anti-tumor agents, through the incorporation of AP in NLS, thus representing an important technological strategy to improve the effectiveness of this drug, as they are stable in biological media and produced with lipids biocompatible, biodegradable and affordable.
