Dry milling methods are provided to produce an aqueous fermentation feedstock ingredient. methods include providing a maize processing filtration feed; filtering at least a fraction of said filtration feed into a microfiltration membrane, whereby an aqueous filtration permeate and a filtration retentate are formed; separating said filtrate permeate from said filtrate retentate to form separate permeate and separate retentate; forming a fermentation feedstock comprising said separate permeate, and saccharifying and / or washing said separate retentate. |
