biosensor for the diagnosis of major depressive disorder in the elderly. the present invention consists of preparing a biosensor for the diagnosis of major depressive disorder (TDM) in the elderly, which is one of the psychiatric disorders that most affects the elderly population, which can lead to significant functional impairment, variable response to treatment, high rates of recurrence, chronicity and high rates of medical comorbidities and mortality. Electrochemical genosensors are platforms used for the detection of genetic material in low concentrations, presenting itself as an excellent alternative in relation to conventional methods. in this way, the present invention provides a highly sensitive, specific, low sample quantity biosensor, capable of differentiating healthy and depressed elderly patients with real samples and with excellent regeneration and stability. |
