system for assessing the health of an air passenger and method for assessing the health of an air passenger. An exemplary aspect of the present disclosure relates to a method for assessing the health of a passenger of an air vehicle. The method may include receiving at least one passenger status signal from one or more seat sensors in the air vehicle. The method may include determining a passenger health based on at least one received signal. The method may include determining whether the air vehicle should land based on the passenger's determined state of health. When it is determined that the air vehicle should land based on the passenger's determined state of health, the method may include the identification of a nearest airport. When a determination is made that the air vehicle should land based on the passenger's determined state of health, the method may include the transmission of a request to land at the identified airport. |
