titleOfInvention REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM WITH WIRELESS SENSORS NETWORK
abstract remote monitoring system with wireless sensor network. The present patent is applied to the field of watershed and environmental management and relates to a remote monitoring system with low cost, low power autonomous dam sensor wireless network with characteristics Open and incremental development, which enables automatic, remote, real-time monitoring of dam measurements, and integrated with a company's industrial plant information (pims) management system. The system can also be used in applications that require intensive monitoring such as mining dams, transmission lines, floods, landslides, metal or concrete structures (eg bridges), environmental reserves and endangered animal species. The monitoring system is autonomous and should operate with as little human intervention as possible. Thus, from preliminary studies of the characteristics of dam listening and electromagnetic characterization of a given hydroelectric plant, ten self-management functions were implemented in the system.
