titleOfInvention SYNTHESIS OF METHYL OR ETHYLIC ESTERS (BIODIESEL), OR OF HIGHER ALCOHOL, OF FATTY ACIDS, VIA TRANSESTERIFICATION REACTION OF TRIACYL GLYCEROLS IN BIO-OILS OR BIO-FATS, PROMOTED BY HETEROGENEOUS CATALYSTS BASED ON MAGNETIC WASTE FROM PHOSPHATE MINING.
abstract "SYNTHESIS OF METHYL OR ETHYLIC ESTERS (BIODIESEL), OR OF HIGHER ALCOHOL, OF FATTY ACIDS, VIA TRANSESTERIFICATION REACTION OF TRIACYL GLYCEROLS IN BIO-OILS OR BIOFATS, PROMOTED BY HETEROGENEOUS CATALYSTS BASED ON MAGNETIC WASTE FROM PHOSPHATE MINING." The present invention is related to the process for the production of biodiesel through the transesterification of triacylglycerols, using heterogeneous catalysts derived from magnetic mineral tailings rich in magnetite (Fe304), material, herein, called merely "magnetite", from the mining of apatite mineral deposits. Specifically, the present invention relates to a process for producing biodiesel through the transesterification of triacylglycerols from bio-oils or bio-fats with methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, or any other similar formation of esters with higher alcohols, using the different heterogeneous catalyst. those traditionally found in the state of the art. The catalyst claimed herein consists of magnetite material (Fe304), from phosphate mining tailings, mixed with calcium oxide; the mixture is calcined at a temperature between 100°C and 1000°C.
