The present invention deals with the production process of silica mp2, which uses sugarcane bagasse ash (in natura), a residue from the sugar and alcohol industry for the production of alkali metal silicates. an unprocessed raw material is mixed with an alkaline substance in the range of 50 to 85% w / w and subsequently heated to a temperature range of 300 ° c to 700 ° c, for the time from 1h to 6h. After solubilization of the silicate, acidification with an inorganic acid is performed to pH between 8 and 10, so that the silica precipitates. After precipitation, the excess water is filtered off and then oven dried over a temperature range of 50 ° C to 120 ° C for a time between 3h and 8h. |
