abstract The present invention relates to a composition containing leucine and lactic acid for topical application through facial creams for the purpose of improving facial muscle tone and contour. The aging of the population in today's world has never been so evident in world history. The percentage increase in the number of older people is accompanied by the fall in the number of young people. in 1950, the elderly represented 8% of the population; in 2000, they represented 10% and, by projections, by 2050, they should correspond to 21% (unric, 2016). With this population scenario, many people have been concerned with aesthetic body and facial care. Thus, from the invention it was possible to evaluate the effect of the combined use of leucine and lactic acid in facial cream associated with the use of electrostimulation to improve facial contour and tone in adult women and men.
