abstract "Natural Antimicrobial Formulation for Control of Contaminant Microorganisms in Ethanol Production", the present invention is described as a naturally occurring antimicrobial formulation for control of contaminant microorganisms in ethanol production which, according to their characteristics, It allows the use of two compounds of natural origin that have different mechanisms producing a synergistic action, more specifically to a combination of acid-rich hop extract with nisin, in order to allow a complete optimization in the elimination procedures or significant reduction of contaminating population of gram-positive bacteria in sugar and ethanol production plants in order to replace the use of traditional antibiotics during the fermentation process in ethanol production in sugarcane industries, reducing the environmental impact and generating a free yeast mass of antibiotics that can be reused as a supplement in animal feed.
