abstract development of copaiba oil polymeric films and their microemulsion for anti-inflammatory, healing and antimicrobial application. The patent relates to the process of incorporating microemulsions from oil-resin extracted from plants belonging to the genus copaifera l. (family leguminosae, subfamily caesalpinoideae) in chitosan biodegradable films, not altering its biodegradability characteristics and enabling the activity of the oil in order to obtain a new pharmacological model with anti-inflammatory, healing and antimicrobial properties. It is proposed a microemulsion system that, incorporated to polymeric films increases the permeability, availability, stability and effectiveness in the pharmacological use of copaiba oil to compose a dressing model.
