The present invention describes a sequential extraction process for obtaining fractions of bioactive extracts from yellow passion fruit bagasse (passiflora edulis sp.). More specifically, the process comprises steps involving extraction with supercritical fluid (sfe) followed by extraction with pressurized liquids (ple) to obtain extract fractions concentrated in tocotrienols, polyunsaturated fatty acids, carotenoids and phenolic compounds. |
