titleOfInvention CERAMIC PASTA FOR PRODUCTION OF INTERVALED CERAMIC FLOOR CONTAINING ORNAMENTAL ROCK WASTE
abstract ceramic mass for producing interlocked ceramic floor containing ornamental rock residue. The present invention relates to a 70% clay formulated ceramic mass, called gray, incorporating 30% ornamental rock residue, and applies to the ceramic industry mainly for the production of ceramic interlocking floor, called sweetheart. The reasons for incorporating the ornamental stone beneficiation residue into the ceramic mass used for the manufacture of interlocking sweetener floors are: i) promoting the reuse of polluting solid waste; ii) overcome the technical deficiencies that some clays exhibit (e.g. low flux content and refractory behavior during firing) that compromise the quality of the ceramic mass and the final product. Based on the results of the tests, it can be concluded that the ceramic mass with incorporation of ornamental rock residue is technically suitable for the manufacture of interlocking floor of the sweetener type, such as nx (astm c902: 2014) and type sweeteners. iii (ntc 3829: 2014), as well as, according to norm 9781 (2013), they are indicated as permitted pedestrian traffic, light vehicles and commercial vehicles.
