abstract |
It is a system that includes an internal combustion engine including an intake manifold and a throttle arranged upstream of the intake manifold. The system also includes a turbocharger coupled to the internal combustion engine, wherein the turbocharger includes a turbine and a compressor. The system further includes a discharge port coupled to the turbine. the system further includes a controller configured to receive a first signal representing a compressor discharge pressure of a first sensor and a second signal representative of the intake manifold pressure of a second sensor to determine a differential pressure across the throttle with based on the first and second signals to determine a discharge port position solely on the basis of differential pressure, and to adjust the discharge port to the position. |
