abstract Process for Making Candy Gum The invention relates to a single pot process for producing a candy gum in which a sugar / glucose syrup mixture is concentrated by a boiling process, or a mixture of crystalline polyols, or a mixture of Polyol syrup is mixed with gum-based raw materials and also gelling agents, flavoring agents, and optionally sweeteners, wherein the gum-based raw materials used are solely polyvinyl acetate, vinylalaurate acetate copolymer, fat, wax and emulsifier.
