abstract catalysts consisting of ceramic or metal hand-particulate supports, process of depositing nanoparticles on ceramic or metal supports, processes for treating organic effluents by employing catalysts consisting of ceramic or metal supports with hand-particulate and effluent treatment systems by employing of catalysts consisting of nanoparticulate ceramic or metal supports the material treated in this patent application proposes catalysts which are based on properly loaded ceramic or metal supports (s). nanoparticles, such catalysts being obtained by deposition processes which are also objects addressed in this application. The catalysts now treated are used as a means to produce the treatment of organic effluents (11) which may be in liquid or gaseous form. The subject matter herein further addresses effluent treatment systems which employ, as a basic technology, the oxidation of such effluents by catalysts based on ceramic or metallic supports (s) loaded with nanoparticles. the supports (s) may physically have a sponge (2) which defines a catalyst unit (1): the support (s) incorporates nanoparticles of metal oxides that include: mno2, thio2, fe203, coo , vzo5, cuo, ni203, cr203, mo3, or noble metals such as ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, silver, osmium, iridium, platinum and gold.
