titleOfInvention | isotopic transmutator fuser linear cell |
abstract | isotopic transmutator fuser linear cell. The present invention relates to an isotopic transmutator fuser (CTIF) linear cell, characterized in that it constitutes a compact nuclide activating device, where deuterium (d) or tritium (t) ions are accelerated and transported along the axial axis of the cell. consisting of a cylindrical plasma chamber (38) fed by radio frequency antenna (45) and (46); having, in sequence, a set of electrodes, namely: plasma (31), suppressor (32), grounded (33), containment (34), and target (35), which accelerated d or t ions against the target (34) covered with deposited metal hydrides (34), where dd, dt or tt reactions generate neutrons; a refrigerant and target electrode isolator cooling system (48); a neutron moderator in a cylindrical receptacle (40) of adjustable length; one or more sample receptacles (37) axially inserted into the moderator; the cell being covered by neutron reflector (42) and shield (41) and (43). clfti is intended to generate short or long half-life radioisotopes, to produce materials and substances of interest in medical diagnosis and therapy; reducing the stability of long-lived radionuclides, favoring the burning of radioactive waste; eliminate unwanted radioactive sources; to produce nuclear fuel from fissionable elements; be useful in analyzing chemical concentration by activating ready ranges. |
