Pharmacological therapy is one of the resources used to treat chronic pain, such as fibromyalgia. Among the most commonly used medications are opioids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), myorelaxant drugs, peripheral analgesics and antidepressants. however, 40 to 60% of patients do not respond well to pharmacotherapy. For this reason, the search for new therapeutic alternatives remains constant around the world. Thus, the present patent application deals with inclusion complexes of (-) - linalol and b-cyclodextrmna (b-cd), as well as the method of obtaining and the antinociceptive activity of the essential oil and the obtained complexes. |
