abstract Patent observation kills insects for massive capture and control of cotton boll weevil. The present invention relates to a trap for massive capture and control of the insect known as "cotton boll weevil" comprising a tubular central body (1) having a perforated lower section (11), an enclosure formed by a perforated cover (7) and a base or back cover (3) provided with perforations (3b) which furthermore has one or more openings (12) for insect entry into the enclosure from the lower section (1); b) an insecticide dispenser section (4) within the enclosure; c) a vent and outlet outlet perforation section (5) located farther from the base or back cover than the insecticide dispenser (4) ; d) a perforated cup (8) for housing an attractive product diffuser (14) inside and above the enclosure, and e) a closure (9) of the perforated cup (8) at its upper end.
