abstract | Auxiliary and predictive diagnosis kit for diabetes mellitus. The present invention relates to a method that yields a kit wherein the discrimination of diabetic and non-diabetic is based on metabolic reactivity. Raw or fractionated blood is used in leukocytes, granulocytes or mononuclear cells against metabolic stimulators or inhibitors involving or not cyclic nucleotides or cyclopentanoperhydrophenanthrene derivatives. Diabetic patients and healthy donors have opposite metabolic responses. This profile was found in descendants (f1) of families or the prevalence of diabetes is high, suggesting predisposition to the disease when associated with environmental factors (epigenic). |
