abstract | RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR SIDE WALL OR RIVET, AND TIRE. A sidewall or rivet rubber composition is provided whose performance in terms of low heat build-up, crack resistance and discolouration resistance are improved in a balanced manner, with low manufacturing cost, and to a tire formed from the rubber composition. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for a sidewall or rivet, including, per 100 parts by mass of a rubber component, 2 parts by weight or more of a wet silica having a BET specific surface area of 70m ^ 2. 250 g ^ 2 ^ / g, not less than 20 parts by weight but not more than 40 parts by weight of carbon black having a BET specific surface area of 27 m ^ 2 ^ / g and 125 m ^ 2 ^ / g to 2.0 to 7.0 parts by weight of at least one selected from the group consisting of phenylenediamine antioxidants and quinoline antioxidants. |
