titleOfInvention | ANTINEOPLASTIC PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATION FOR MAMMALS |
abstract | ANTIMETABOLIC ANTINEOPLASTIC PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATION FOR MAMMALS This invention was designed to promote the treatment of all types of neoplastic processes that affect mammals using a composition consisting of the active ingredient polycresulene at a concentration of 5.0 to 10, 0% contained in a sterile hypertonic aqueous solution of mannitol or optionally other sugars such as xylitol, sorbitol, fructose or glucose at a concentration of 20% for injectable use at reduced pH by combining a 25% lactic or salicylic acid solution 35%, or added with vaseline or sterile gel for topical cutaneous use with indication for therapy of neoplastic processes. Injection or topical use of the composition is performed directly on the neoplastic tissue. The therapeutic principle is based on the action of mannitol on the cellular environment that promotes an increase in the permeability of the cell membranes thus allowing the active principle contained in the formula to penetrate within the exerting its therapeutic action. These antimetacholic antineoplastic effects are translated by vasoconstrictor, protein denaturation and antiangiogenic actions. The application of the therapeutic formulation does not cause pain and should be associated with mild sedation and, unlike conventional antineoplastic treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, is free of side effects. |
