This patent application refers to a concrete-based composition, hereinafter called ECODOR, intended for the manufacture of sleepers. The final product can replace conventional wooden and concrete sleepers on permanent ways (railways), with a view to reducing costs, since it consists of the reuse of waste such as aggregates and optical fibers, as well as the environmental benefits resulting from the reduction of debris deposit area in landfills or dumps, in addition to presenting high resistance to compression and traction.
