titleOfInvention METHOD TO SEEK AN UNDERGROUND HOLE, METHOD TO SEEK ANNULAR SPACE, METHOD TO ANALYZE ANNULAR SPACE AND METHOD TO MONITOR A FILLING WITH UNDERGROUND GRAVEL
abstract method for ascertaining an underground hole, method for ascertaining an annular space, method for analyzing an annular space and method for monitoring a filling with underground gravel. the present invention relates to the monitoring of scattered gamma rays and is used to identify substances arranged between coaxial tubes 412 arranged in an underground hole 402. the gamma rays are strategically directed from the inside of an inner tube 412 to the inside of the annular space 422 and some of the gamma rays disperse from the substance between the tube 412s and are detected with the detectors set at a designated axial distance from the gamma ray source 428. the gamma rays also disperse from the fluid in the inside tube 412, a ratio of the detected gamma rays that disperse from the fluid in tube 412 and from the substance can be used to determine the substance.
