titleOfInvention production process of bioceramic spheres
abstract production process of bioceramic spheres. The present invention describes a process for producing bioceramic microspheres. The present process comprises a processing route for the manufacture of calcium phosphate microspheres such as hydroxyapatite and tricalcium beta-phosphate (bcp - biphasic calcium phosphate), with controlled parameters allowing obtain suitable size and porosity for various applications. In the present invention, the resulting product comprises a spherical, porous, granular, biphasic calcium phosphate (bcp) ceramic material consisting of hydroxyapatite and tricalcium beta-phosphate with a particle size in the range of 840 to 38 micrometers.
