titleOfInvention | composition for chemical modification of eucalyptus wood, method of application and its uses |
abstract | Composition for chemical modification of eucalyptus wood, method of application and its uses The manner of alteration of the chemistry of eucalyptus wood described in the present invention allows to obtain transgenic modified individuals suitable for use in the paper industry and for generation power. It describes a composition formed by narigenin and narigenin-chalcona for chemical modification of eucalyptus wood, as well as its method of application and uses that allow eucalyptus wood to be modified in such a way as to alter its lignification. This way, the wood presents a lower lignin content in relation to the syringil and guayacil monomers, without, however, altering the total amount of eucalyptus lignin, making the individual whose wood changed remains unviable, since the amount of lignin is a determining factor for proper eucalyptus growth |
