abstract MANGABEIRA LATEX COMPOSITION AND ITS USE IN BONE REGENERATION The present invention is a composition of natural latex for bone regeneration that comprises as main component aqueous fraction of latex or latex of Hancornia specĂ­osa Gomes and its use as an inducer of bone formation. The composition of the present invention consists of latex of vegetable origin, extracted from mangabeira, a tree found mainly in the Brazilian cerrado. Its latex can be easily collected and has application in bone defects with the property of stimulating bone formation and growth.
