method and pre-clinical test to obtain a vaccine using bacillus calmette-guérin (bcg) and mycobacterium smegmatis that express the virulence factors bfpa and intimin of enteropathogenic escrerichia coli (epec). The present invention relates to the method for obtaining a vaccine using bacillus calmette-guerin (bcg) (vaccine against tuberculosis) and mycobacterium smegmatis (acid-alcohol resistant bacteria species of the mycobacterium genus) expressing the virulence factors of the bfpa gene and intimin of enteropathogenic escherichia coli (epec). the vaccine strain of the present invention is used to activate the immune system to produce local protection against challenges with virulent strains of epec. |
