titleOfInvention | IONALLY MARKED METAL CATALYZERS FOR MULTI-COMPONENT REACTIONS, THEIR PROCESS FOR OBTAINING AND APPLYING THEM TO OBTAIN BIOACTIVE SUBSTANCES |
abstract | IONALLY MARKED METAL CATALYZERS FOR MULTI-COMPONENT REACTIONS, THE PROCESS FOR OBTAINING BIOACTIVE SUBSTANCES. Originally proposed by Pietro Biginelli, the model multicomponent reaction used in this invention involves the combination of an aldehyde, an β-ketoester and urea under acid catalysis providing a DHPM. The major interest in DHPMs is their pharmacological potential. The classic Biginelli reaction requires high reaction times and often with low yields. The present invention relates to labeled ionicating catalysts for multicomponent reactions. More specifically, the invention relates to catalysts labeled in Biginelli reactions. Another aspect of the invention relates to the process of obtaining ionically labeled catalysts based on imidazole ionic liquids comprising transition metals. More particularly, obtaining ionically labeled catalysts containing iron. The catalytic viability of the developed catalysts was verified both in terms of reaction time and the amount of catalyst employed. Additionally, the obtained catalysts are employed in the synthesis of dihydropyrimidinones or dihydropyrimidinones with enhanced antitumor activity. |
