titleOfInvention | SYNTHESIS OF CYANOACRYLATE MONOMERS FOR AVAILABILITY IN THE PRODUCTION OF TOPIC ADHESIVES |
abstract | SYNTHESIS OF CYANOACRYLATE MONOMERS FOR THE AVAILABILITY IN THE PRODUCTION OF TOPICAL ADHESIVES. The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of cyanoacrylate monomers the synthesis of esters, which are prepared using the low cost Lewis acid NbCl ~ 5 ~ and also reports the preparation of cyanoacrylate polymers through the use of a biocatalyst (swine pancreatic enzyme). In addition, to improve some physical characteristics of the synthesized products such as color and odor, two agents were added, the gentian violet which gives the product a blue tint and is an antifungal and bactericidal agent and the trans-cinnamaldehyde which provides the product with a pleasant cinnamon odor. |
