titleOfInvention Process for chain termination in pvc polymerization
abstract "PROCESS FOR CHAIN TERMINATION IN PVC POLYMERIZATION". The present invention relates to a process and composition for vinyl chloride polymerization or copolymerization chain termination in the presence of a stable free nitroxyl radical and a phenolic antioxidant. Another object of the invention is the use of a stable free nitroxyl radical together with a phenolic antioxidant as a chain termination mixture for vinyl chloride polymerization or copolymerization. Another aspect of the invention is the use of sterically hindered nitroxyl radicals alone or as chain terminating agents for vinyl chloride polymerization.
