abstract "CATALYTIC PROCESS OF SYNTHESIS OF ADDITIVES, THE BASIS OF ESTERS, PROMOTERS OF THE ETHANOLDIESEL MIX". The present invention relates to the catalytic synthesis of additives that promote the stability of ethanol-diesel blends. These additives consist of fatty acid esters with cyclic, aromatic alcohols or polyols. Esters can be obtained by either esterification or transesterification reactions. Synthesis can be done through homogeneous or heterogeneous catalysts. Optionally other conventional ketone index promoters such as 2-ethylhexyl nitrate, cyclohexanol, ethylene glycol ethers, etc., or lubricity promoters such as methyl or ethyl esters of fatty acids may be introduced to the additive esters.
