Angiotensin-vehicle peptide conjugates and their uses |
abstract |
"ANGIOTENSINABLE VEHICLE PEPTID AND ITS USES". The present invention relates to conjugates of peptide derivatives of the angiotensionogen, angiotensin I and angiotensin II mammalian peptide hormones presented in a repetitive frame by coupling peptide derivatives to a vehicle, particularly a virus-like particle (VLP). The invention also relates to methods of producing such conjugates, and immunotherapeutic uses of the resulting immunogen conjugates for the therapy and prophylaxis of conditions associated with the renin-activated angiotensin system. |
