abstract "PROCESS FOR PURIFICATION OF AN ORGANIC SOLVENT FOR GAS MIX ANALYRID ABSORPTION" The invention relates to an improved process for the purification of an organic solvent for the purpose of absorbing a maleic acid anhydride from a mixture gaseous. The process of the invention is characterized by the removal of maleic anhydride from the solvent, the removal of a partial flow from the solvent stream and distillation of said partial flow by returning it to the solvent stream. A low boiling fraction and a high boiling fraction are removed from the fraction consisting substantially of purified solvent and the fraction consisting substantially of purified solvent is returned to the solvent stream.
