abstract "SYSTEM AND PROCESSES FOR PARTICULAR MATERIAL ANALYSIS". A particle analysis system comprising: a source of solid particles; a sampler attached to and adjacent to a solid particle source, the apparatus of which is adapted to enable the removal of small amounts of sample material from the source; a sonication cell connected to the sampling apparatus, whose sonication cell optionally receives and conditions the small amounts of sample material; a sample analysis apparatus connected to the sonication cell, whose sample analysis apparatus is adapted to receive, optionally further condition, and analyze the resulting sonicated sample received from the sonication cell; and a liquid pump and liquid conductive lines adapted to: remove aliquots from the source; drive an aliquot taken into the sonication cell and sample analyzer; and water jet the system to get rid of residual aliquot contamination.
