titleOfInvention methods for preparing bioprosthetic tissue and implantable devices comprising such bioprosthetic tissue
abstract "METHODS FOR PREPARING BIOPROTETIC FABRIC AND IMPLANTABLE DEVICES UNDERSTANDING SUCH BIOPROTETIC FABRIC". The present invention relates to methods of inactivation and removal of tissue infectious agents for use in bioprosthetic devices. Methods include removal and blocking of binding sites for infectious agents on tissues. Methods for blocking a site on an infectious agent that binds to a site on tissue are also provided. The invention also provides a method for conserving or reducing calcification of a bioprosthetic tissue.
