"USE OF STRAMUSTINE PHOSPHATE OR ITS METABOLITE IN THE PREPARATION OF A MEDICINE, AGENT FOR USE IN THE THERAPEUTIC EFFECTIVENESS OF A TAXAN, COMBINING THERAPEUTIC THERAPEUTIC EFFICIENCY, A THERAPEUTIC THERAPEUTIC EFFICIENCY" . The use of estramustine phosphate and its metabolites estramustine and stromustine allows the potentiation of the therapeutic efficacy of taxanes both by improving their pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profile by inhibiting the enzymes (CYP) 2C8 and (CYP) 3A4, both responsible for the metabolism of taxanes; estramustine phosphate formulations and metabolites, combinations of these bands with taxanes and therapeutic methods of treatment comprising them as a combined therapy are also disclosed. |
