Patent Application: "Cyclic PEPTIDE DERIVATIVES AS INTEGRIN ALPHA INHIBITORS ~ v ~ BETA ~ 6 ~". The invention relates to novel peptide derivatives of formula (I): cyclo (Arg-X-1-ASp-X-2 ^ -X ^ 3 ^ -X ^ 4 ^ -X ^ 5 ^ -X ^ 6 ^ -R ^ 1 ^) which are biologically active as integrin ligands Î ± 24 <RTI ID = 0.0>, X ^ 1 </RTI> represents Ser, Gly or Thr; X 12 is Leu, 1le, Nle, Val or Phe; X 3 is Asp, Glu, Lys or Phe; X4 is Gly, Ala or Ser; X 5 is Leu, 1le, Nle, Val or Phe; X6 6 is Arg, Har or Lys; and R 14 is absent or represents one or more Î ± -aminocarboxylic acid radicals, the Î ± -aminocarboxylic acid radical consisting of 500 to 2500 µm in length. Such amino acids may also be derived from the D and L forms of the included optically active amino acid radicals. The invention also relates to physiologically suitable salts. |
