abstract The growth regulator can find application in growing of orchards, market gardening, flower production and other fields of agriculture. It has high biological activity, high water solubility and is intoxic in practice. It greatly reduces the spraying or irrigation requirement of plants. The means is pure mono-, di-, tri-, tetra- and/or penta O- hydroxyalkyl- substituted derivatives of quartzetine and its glucosides or their mixtures in the form of 0.01-0.05% water solution. If needed, auxiliary means can be applied such as suitable carrier or any other additives, e.g. adhesives, depending on the treatment of the crops.
