titleOfInvention | SILAGE ADDITIVE |
abstract | The additive is used in the production of grass, cereal, legume and rice. It improves storage, increases the stability of the silage product, reduces losses and facilitates the absorption of silage from animals. In the silage additive there is included an active component for the silage of the cultures and at least one enzyme protease inhibitor selected from the cysteine protease and asparagine protease inhibitors. The active ingredient may be a chemical substance such as acid or of bacterial origin, for example lactic acid producing strains. Inhibitors are of biological origin. The solid additive may be administered in the form of a liquid or a particulate solid, in which case the carriers are different. 16 claims |
