titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF SUSTAINABILITY OF GROWTHED ENVIRONMENTS SUPPORTED BY PRELIMINARY PLASMA-SURFACE ACTIVATION TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for assessing and managing the susceptibility of porous media, for example, wood, cellulose, polymers, textiles and products thereof, to a process supported by pre-plasma surface activation (functionalization, oxidation), and in particular of plasma-assisted surface impregnation outside the process line, which includes increasing the free surface energy by surface treatment, directly or remotely, with nonequilibrium cold plasma of dielectric barrier discharge in air at atmospheric pressure, and reducing the surface tension of the impregnating solution with with the help of surfactants, so that the difference between the obtained free surface energy and the surface tension of the solution is a positive value - as large as possible. The dielectric barrier discharge burns in a two- or three-electrode system, supplied with alternating voltage, at industrial frequency - 50 or 60 Hz, or increased frequency - up to 1 kНz, as the value of the voltage on the discharge gap, with size from 3 to 24 mm, is between 10 kV rms (amplitude 11.4 kV) and 42 kV rms (amplitude 59 kV), i.e. it burns in streamer mode, and the technology is microplasma activation technology. |
