titleOfInvention | BIO-ELECTROCATALYTIC METHOD FOR QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF L-ASCORBIC ACID |
abstract | The invention relates to a bio-electrocatalytic method for the quantitative analysis of L-ascorbic acid, also known as Vitamin C, which is used in the pharmaceutical and food industries. The quantitative analysis is performed by the method of amperometry, and for its implementation an enzymatic working electrode is used, composed of gold nanoparticles layered on a standard glass-carbon electrode and the enzyme ascorbate oxidase hemisorbed on them. The bio-electrocatalytic method for quantification of ascorbic acid according to the invention is characterized by high sensitivity and selectivity, the ability to test the sample in a simplified analytical procedure that does not require complex pre-treatment, work at lower operating potential, p. is. at lower electricity consumption, applicable for qualitative and quantitative evaluation of foods, food additives and for analysis of pharmaceutical products. |
