The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition of a trooserutin-containing dosage form and to a method for its preparation. The pharmaceutical form is intended for the treatment of pre- and post-rhinitis syndrome, chronic venous insufficiency, varices and hemorrhoids, superficial and acute thrombophlebitis, pain and edema of traumatic origin. The pharmaceutical composition is in the form of capsules containing 300 mg of troxerutin and adjuvants: colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose polyethylene glycol 6000, at a ratio of colloidal silicon dioxide: troxerutin - from 1:25 to 1:59, lactose to troxerutin - from 1:85 to 1: 750 and polyethylene glycol 6000 to troxerutin from 1:15 to 1:25. The pharmaceutical composition is prepared by a method which comprises homogenizing the active compound with colloidal silicon dioxide and lactose and granulating with a solution of polyethylene glycol 6000 in ethanol or an aqueous ethanol mixture, then granulating it and resuspending and the resulting granulate encapsulated in hard gelatin capsules. |
