The invention relates to substituted 2-benzylamino-2-phenylacetamides of the general formula wherein n is 0, 1, 2 or 3, X is -O-, -S-, -CH2- or -NH-, each of the substituents R , R 1, R 2 and R 3 are, independently of each other, hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, halogen, hydroxy, C 1 -C 6 -alkoxy or trifluoromethyl each of R 4 and R 5 are independently hydrogen, alkyl or C3-C7-cycloalkyl, or to pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds are used in the treatment of disease states such as chronic or neuropathic pain. |
