titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR THE OBTAINING OF ESTERS OF Iodized FATTY ACIDS, Iodized FATTY ACIDS AND THEIR DERIVATIVES |
abstract | According to the method, the compounds are prepared by the addition of hydrogen iodide, which involves reacting in an organic medium alkylsilylated derivatives of the type trimethylsilyl chloride or trimethyl chlorosilane with alkaline iodide of the sodium iodide type. Subsequently, under the influence of water, in situ hydrochloric acid is formed which reacts with, for example, fatty acid esters, in particular, fatty acid methyl esters of rapeseed oil, recommended as a biological fuel for gasoline engines. The resulting stable fluid product is inexpensive, pharmaceutical in nature and can be used to treat, in particular, goiter due to iodine deficiency. |
