The invention relates to universal dead vaccines for the specific treatment and prevention of dermatomycosis in animals and to the corresponding immunogenic fungal strains. They are obtained in a simple manner, have stable immunogenic properties, a complete assortment of exo- and endoantigens of dermatophytic cultures and do not cause adverse reactions in animals. The following fungal strains are used as vaccination strains: Trychophyton verrucosum, T. mentagrophytes, T. equinum, Microsporum canis, M. canis var. obesum, M. canis var. distortum, M. gypseum. Vaccines can be prepared by combining the antigenic material of said strains and a suitable carrier. |
