titleOfInvention | DNA SEQUENTIING ERROTOPOETINE CODING |
abstract | Erythropoietin is used to diagnose and treat various forms of anemia and hypoxia as it increases the production of red blood cells. Recombinant dk methods are used to prepare it. These sequences generate DNA sequences coding for part or all of the human or monkey erythropoietin sequence. Plasma or expression vectors derived therefrom are transformed or transfected with prokaryotic or eukaryotic host cells. The expression produces polypeptides exhibiting the biological properties of native erythropoietin. |
